Ross Barnden
It is with great sadness that we advise that Ross passed away on 13 July 2020. Ross was with his wife Margaret and his family. Ross has had a huge battle over the last few years but always maintained a positive attitiude.
Ross was a great supporter and worker within the masters community not only in Tasmaina but also the Australians. He was known for being a great leader and organiser within the Tassie masters community. At the Australians he was always there to lend a helping hand behind the desk and help out whereever he could.
He loved seeing everyone having a great time and always warmly welcomed us Vics when we ventured to Tassie for their annual July tournament. Nothing was ever too much trouble for Ross.
He was also a great supporter of our Victorian tournaments and played in 38 of our tournaments.
He will be sadly missed by all in Masters squash throughout Australia.
Ross' funeral will be held on Monday 20 July at 10.30am. Phillip Stephens Funerals will be providing a live stream should you wish to view proceedings.
