The Victorian Championships are the pinnacle of the VMSA calendar and the defining Masters event in Victoria each year.
The Victorian Championships are more than just a tournament. Across all age divisions, the tournament brings together the state’s strongest fields to compete for official Victorian titles in Open and Graded divisions.
The Championships demand a venue capable of hosting strong divisions, managing competitive depth, and supporting a large playing field across the weekend. It requires scale, organisation, and a club culture that understands competitive squash at a high level.
The partnership for the Victorian Championships between VMSA and Mulgrave Country Club reflects that alignment
Whether you are competing for a Victorian title or simply taking part in the state’s showcase event, the 2026 Victorian Championships promise high quality squash, great sportsmanship, and the unmistakable spirit of Masters competition.
Mulgrave Country Club is one of Victoria’s leading multi-sport clubs, known for its strong membership base and established sporting programs.
Within the club sits one of the state’s most active squash communities. Mulgrave Squash Club consistently fields strong representation across VMSA tournaments, pennant competitions, and Masters events throughout the year. Its commitment to structured competition and inclusive programs across all levels of play makes it a fitting host for the state’s premier Masters championship.
In 2026, the Victorian Championships arrive at a venue that combines participation, experience, and competitive depth - providing the right setting for an event of this standing.
This year the Victorian Championships will have both Open and Graded events (similar to the format used at the Australians in Perth). Open events will be in 5 year age groups by gender. For those who do not wish to play in the Open Events, there will be Graded events by gender and divided into divisions based on each individual's ranking.
